From The Liverpool Echo of 20 January 1930: "WIGAN SENTENCES Henry Chrimes, collier, of 9 Taylor-street, pleaded guilty at Wigan, today, to making false representations in order to obtain unemployment benefit, and was sent to gaol for three months." Henry's marriage to Jane is based on age and location. Henry died at the age of 29, leaving his wife Jane with three infants. From The Liverpool Echo of 5 May 1932: "DRAMATIC ANNOUNCEMENT IN WIGAN COURT Henry Chrimes, 9, Taylor-street, was to have appeared at Wigan to-day in two cases, one for persistent cruelty to his wife and children, and the other for assaulting a child, aged two and a half years. When the cases were called, Mr.J.C.
