In 1851 Mary was still living in London with her sisters Sarah and her brother Thomas. The 1851 Census record has been mis-written as CHIMES. From The London Evening Standard of 3 July 1880: "DEATHS - CHRIMES - June 29, at No. 8, York-villas, Brighton, Mary Chrimes, aged 71 years." Mary's Proving of Will record reads: "CHRIMES Mary 20 July The Will of Mary Chrimes late of 8 York Villas Brighton in the County of Sussex Spinster who died 29 June 1880 at 8 York Villas was proved at the Principal Registry by Sarah Ann Chrimes of 8 York Villas the Sister the sole Executrix.
