From The Nantwich Chronicle of 21 September 1957: "Vicar's fall from ladder while decorating his church. Winsford born, the Rev. Frank Taylor, aged 51, Vicar of Welton in the East Riding of Yorkshire died after falling about 30 feet from a ladder while decorating his church. [PHOTOGRAPH] ... On Wednesday last week, when he did not return home at his customary time Mrs. Taylor went to the church to call him. She found him lying injured at the foot of the ladder.... In 1943 Mr. Taylor was accepted into the Anglican Church...He married Miss Doris Chrimes, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Chrimes, of Norley, and they have a 21-year-old daughter..."
