From The Winsford Chronicle of 17 October 1942: "BIRTH - CHRIMES on ▮▮▮▮▮▮ 1942 at ?? Nursing Home, Hartford, to Mr. and Mrs. B.H. Chrimes (née Brown) a son."
From The Crewe Chronicle of 10 February 1966: "The wedding of Mr. P▮▮▮▮ R▮▮▮▮▮ Chrimes, only son of Mr. and Mrs. B.H. Chrimes, of Hillside, Newcastle-road, Sandbach, and Miss Valerie Kay Cartlidge, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.R. Cartlidge, of 67 Edleston-road, Crewe, took place on Saturday week at St. Mary's Church, Sandbach. The Rev. T.G. Wykes officiated and the organist was Mr. G. Meredith. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore .... Miss S▮▮▮▮ Chrimes (bridegroom's sister), the bridesmaid, wore .... Mr. Anthony Challinor was the best man. After the reception for 46 guests at the Old Hall Hotel, Sandbach, the couple left for Blackpool ....
