| Ruth Marina's birth record gives her mother's name as CHRIMES. In the 1939 Register Ruth Marina was in the household of William CHRIMES b.1881 and his wife Ruth Ann ROBERTS. Their son Joseph Eldred was present, but not their daughter Freda, though I suspect that Freda b.1918 was the mother of Ruth Marina. Ruth Marina's father may have been William Arthur JONES who Freda married in 1936, but there is no evidence to support this. The Birth Certificate for P▮▮▮▮▮▮▮ A▮▮ CHRIMES b.1950 gives mother's name as Marina Ruth CHRIMES but is nevertheless believed to be this person. |
