Steven Robert's obituary reads: "TEXAS/COLORADO & JANESVILLE? Steven Robert Chrimes died suddenly at his home Monday, April 18, 2005, at the age of 53. Steve was born in Janesville, WI, on March 26, 1952, son of Robert L. and Elizabeth "Betty" Florin Chrimes. He lived in Colorado from 1972 until 2002, when he was transferred to Houston, TX, where he was employed at Jacobs Engineering Company. He is survived by his son, Gregory Steven (Wendy) Chrimes, grandson, Tanner Gregory Chrimes, his mother, Betty Chrimes, 2 sisters, Connie Lisowe and Kay (David) Brewick, 3 nephews: Chad Lisowe, Robert and Nate Brewick, an aunt, Dorothy Florin (Keith Simmons), and an uncle, Eugene Chrimes. Steve was preceded in death by his father, the Rev. Robert L. Chrimes, a brother, Robert Allen Chrimes, and a brother-in-law, Gary Lisowe. A memorial service will be held at the Evangelical Free Church in Evergreen, CO, Saturday, April 30, 2005, at 3:00 p.m. Entombment will be in Janesville, WI, at a later date.
