Lucy was baptised at a Catholic church. I cannot find Lucy on the 1901 UK Census. On the 1911 UK Census Lucy is declared as "Wife Sister", the wife being "Mary Ann Whittaker" (presumed née CRIMES) age 36 born Ashton under Lyne, married 11 years. Lucy is connected to her parents by the 1919 marriage certificate. In 1921 Lucy was employed by Dawson Hill Mill at Fox St., Heywood, Lancashire. The death record is chosen based on age and location only. |
