Peter Tomlinson was named CRIMES at birth and at baptism but was named Peter TOMILSON (should be TOMLINSON) at the 1911 England Census and TOMLINSON thereafter. Although registered as the son of William CRIMES, Peter Tomlinson may be the son of Herbert TOMLINSON. This is supported by the 1921 England Census, where Peter was declared to be 'Son' of Herbert TOMLINSON. In 1921 Peter Tomlinson, though 'Out of Work', had previously been employed by Sam Hutton Paviors & Contractors of Northwich. |
