In the 1921 England Census, Alice Ann was a 'visitor' to her parents' home. In 1921 Alice Ann was employed by School for Orphans, Ladies Jubilee School, Manchester. From The Cheshire Observer of 26 December 1959: "MISS ALICE A. CRIMES The funeral of Miss Alice A. Crimes, of 13 Roadside, Christleton, who died in Chester City Hospital on 15th December, took place last Friday, when a service at Christleton Church was conducted by Rev. A.A. Guest-Williams. The family mourners were: Mrs. J Jones (sister), Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Crimes (brother and sister-in-law), Mr. and Mrs. Bithell (neplew and niece), Miss H Bithell (great-niece). Mrs. Dacey, Mr. and Mrs. G.A. Crimes (cousins), Mr. J. Jones (brother-in-law) ... " |
