From The Cheshire Observer of 13 January 1967: "Mrs. W.H. Crimes - We regret to record the death which occured last Friday, of Mrs. Edith Emily Crimes, wife of Mr. W.H. Crimes, of 239 Hoole Lane. The funeral took place at Blacon Crematorium on Monday, when a service was conducted by Rev. Gwyn Hughes. The mourners were: The Widower, Mr. D.H. Anderson (son-in-law), also rep. Mrs. D.H. Anderson (daughter), Mr. and Mrs. L. Williams, Mr. and Mrs. R. Williams, Mr. and Mrs.E.C. Williams (brothers and sisters-in-law). Others present were ..." Mrs. D.H.
