From The Crosby Herald of 28 May 1987: "DEATHS - CHRIMES May 17th, 1987, suddenly but peacefully in Torremolinos, Spain while on holiday - EILEEN MARGUERITE aged 76 years, beloved wife of the late Laurence of Blundellsands, much loved mother of Laurence, T▮▮▮▮ and P▮▮▮▮▮▮. Requiem Mass at the Church of St. Joseph's, Warren Road, Blundellsands, on Friday, May 29th at 9:30 am, followed by interment at Thornton Garden of Rest Cemetery..."
