From The Macclesfield Courier and Herald of 5 September 1840: "MARRIAGES On the 1st inst., at Chester, Mr. W Crimes, furrier, to Miss Jane Rigby, both of that city." William was admitted to Sefton General Hospital (Toxteth Park Workhouse) on 11 May 1863, suffering from 'Fever'. He was discharged on 16 May 1863 - 'Died'. From The Cheshire Observer of 23 May 1863: "DEATHS On the 16th inst. aged 46, Mr. William Crimes, of Liverpool, formerly of Chester." William's burial record gives his age at death as 45 years and his abode as Workhouse. |
