From The Ellesmere Port Pioneer of 25 September 1986: "MRS. R. CHRIMES The funeral took place on Tuesday of Mrs. Ruth Chrimes, aged 89 of Hampton Gardens, Ellesmere Port, who died at Chester City Hospital on Thursday. A service was conducted at St. Thomas' Church prior to cremation at Blacon."
