A 1921 England Census record for Alice Frith, 'single', visiting her married sister at Barley Castle Farm, Appleton, may apply. The place of birth is given as 'Seven Oaks' which is credible, being a township now part of Antrobus, and was indeed within the Runcorn registration district. Alice lived to be 99 years old. Alice's Grant of Probate reads: "LOWE, Alice of The Manor Residential Home Manor Pk Middlewich Cheshire died 5 June 1992 Probate Liverpool 11 September" |
