Samuel's marriage and children are recorded in a family bible inscription submitted by Jessica CHRIMES.
Samuel's wife Sarah appears on the 1861 census as "widow" so Samuel must have died between 1851 and 1861. The death record is chosen for that reason only.
Samuel is head of the branch "Staffordshire".
In 1841 Samuel declared that he had been born in Staffordshire, and in 1851 he declared that he had been born specifically at Kingswinford, Staffordshire. I cannot find any record of the baptism of Samuel, but as he appears not to have had any of his own children baptised, this is perhaps not surprising, though the existence of a family bible which he owned tends to suggest otherwise.
