In 1861 Ann was at Church Lane, Rawcliffe, as a visitor to Charles and Mary J SMITH, declared married and with her daughter Edith aged 7 months and Hannah CHRIMES aged 47. In the census all the CHRIMES persons are mis-transcribed as CKINNES. In the 1881 census Ann was declared as Widow at the age of 45. Ann's Grant of Probate record reads: "CHRIMES Ann of Rotherham Yorkshire widow died 24 November 1905 Probate Wakefield 11 December to Richard Chrimes gentleman and Laura Brown (wife of Robert John Brown). Effects £6811 1s 8d" |
