From The Winsford Chronicle of 31 August 1946: "NORLEY - FUNERAL OF MRS. CHRIMES - The death of Mrs. Chrimes (66), wife of Mr. Harry Chrimes, took place at her home, Moss Farm, on Thursday week. For 53 years she was a member of the Milton Baptist Church and also held the office of President of the Bethel Methodist Sisterhood near her home. Following services at the house and at the Bethel Methodist Church conducted by the Rev. H. Haigh, the interment took place at the Parish Church when the vicar (the Rev. H.J.E. Williams) officiated. Mourners were the widower; Mrs. H. Chapman, Mrs. F. Wright, daughters; Mr. and Mrs. B.H. Chrimes, son and daughter-in-law; Mr. and Mrs. A. Roberts, Mr. and Mrs. J. Hignett, Mr. and Mrs. Z. Parker, sons-in-law and daughters; ..." |
