Their parent/guardian was recorded as "Guardians N'wich Union" which I take to be Northwich Workhouse. in 1921 William was working a canal boat with his wife and two children. The boat "Daisy" was 'Horse Drawn'. In 1921 William was employed by The Anderton Boat Company. William appears on the 1939 Register as "William Crimes (Cumes)". The 1961 death record is assigned to this William based on age and location, although there was another William b.1887 |
