Harry was admitted to Boughton British Mixed School, Chester on 4 April 1910. Harry was admitted to Guilden Sutton Church Of England Primary School on 24 March 1911 with his siblings Nellie and Frank. Harry left that school on 9 April 1914 "Gone to Cherry Grove". In 1921 Harry was working at 'Railway sheds at Chester Station.' From The Cheshire Observer of 16 April 1965: "Mr. H. CRIMES The funeral of Mr. Harry Crimes, aged 61, of 201, Hoole-lane, Chester, took place on Saturday, when a service at Piper's Ash Methodist Church was conducted by Rev. E.W.R. Lloyd. Cremation was at Landican. The mourners were: The Widow, Mr. Fred Crimes, Mr. and Mrs. T. Crimes, Mr. and Mrs. F. Crimes, Mr. A. Crimes, Mrs. F. Nicholls, Mr. and Mrs. J. Lloyd (brothers, sister, brother-in-law and sisters-in-law), Mr. J. Crimes (cousin), Mr. C. Williams, Mr. E. Crimes..." Harry's Grant of Administration reads: "CRIMES Harry of 201 Hoole Lane Chester died 5 April 1965 at Barrowmore Hospital Barrow Cheshire. Administration Chester 10 September to Sydney May Crimes widow. £2228." |
