Harry's Birth, Marriage and Death records are in the name CRIMES. I cannot find Harry on the 1891 or 1901 UK Census. The 1911 England Census is in the name CRIMES. In the 1921 England Census the census authorities have given the address as Commaisie Street, which I take to be Coomassie Street. The 1921 England Census return (completed by Harry himself) is clearly in the name GRIMES. In 1921 Harry was employed by Ship Canal Cy. at Manchester Docks. |
