From The Widnes Examiner of 25 September 1886: "The Harvest Thanksgiving services were commenced in the Parish Church, Warrington, on Thursday evening .... The front and borders of the choir stalls were laden with flowers, vegetables, and fruit, and evidenced the care bestowed in the work by Misses Ada and Harriet Chrimes...." In 1901 Ada was a governess in Scotland. Ada did not marry. From FindMyPast Lancashire, Manchester Cremation Records 1818-2001: "On November 8, at Marple, Ada, second daughter of the late Joseph CHRIMES, of Warrington. Cremation today at two o'clock. (Manchester Guardian Fri 12 Nov 1920)" implying that Ada was cremated at Manchester before being buried at Warrington. Ada's Administration record reads: "CHRIMES Ada of Ivy House Farm Cross Lane Marple Cheshire spinster died 8 November 1920 Administration (the Will) Chester 1 February [1921] to Harriette Whittaker (wife of Richard Harry Whittaker).
