On the 1901 census, John is "Sub Postmaster" living at "Post Office".
John married Annie when he was aged 35 and she 27, and in the previous (1871) census he was declared as "Unm" so any children he had would be by his marriage to Annie.
In the 1881, 1891 and 1901 census there are no children declared, so I conclude that John had no children.
The 1891 census has Catherine Newhall [sic] Mother-in-law, aged 79, widow, retired farmer.
Annie appears as Ann on the 1911 Census aged 62 with husband John Chrimes still living in Norley.
The Grant of Probate Record reads: "Chrimes John of Norley Cheshire died 25 March 1925 Probate London 16 May to John Norcross farmer and James Hall Gibson tea merchant"
