From The Cheshire Observer of 4 October 1879: "SECOND COURT - THE DRUNKARDS' LIST ...William Crimes, Joseph Crimes and George Crimes were charged with being drunk and disorderly at Crowton on the 28th August. William and George were each fined 5s. and 8s. 6d. costs, and the summons against Joseph was dismissed."
George appears on the 1901 census but by 1911 his wife Sarah was a widow, so George died between 1901 and 1911.
