The location (Nantwich) may seem unexpected, but Ann's husband Thomas was in Spurstow in 1936, so the couple may have moved from Shropshire to Spurstow before 1919, making a Nantwich death registration credible. This argument would be supported by a 1921 England Census record showing Thomas as widower at Spurstow.
