George is named in some records as Reverend G W Crymes MD. Other researchers name him as George Washington but I have not found any records which give this middle name.
From The Southern Christian Advocate of 27 March 1872: "Rev. Geo. W. Crymes, M. D., died suddenly at his residence in Enon, Alabama, on the night of 26th [sic] February 1872, aged 63 years and 3 days."
From The House of Cantalou... : "He was a graduate in medicine from Transylvania University in Lexington, Ken. He was also a planter and Methodist minister"
Following the death of his first wife Jane Scott in 1844, George W remarried, to Elmira J ELWINI(?) before 1850.
