From the Find-a-Grave record: "Ruby Jeanette Crymes Burden, 90, widow of J. B. Burden, better known by her family as "Outz"or "Outzie", passed away peacefully Friday, April 4, 2014 at the Rainey Hospice House. Born January 30, 1924 in Pelzer, she was the daughter of Truman and Louvenia Smith Crymes. Ruby and J.B spent most of their 71years of married life on Calvert Street, in Homeland Park, where they raised their one son, Johnny and all the other kids in the neighborhood. In her younger days, she was known for her basketball skills and she enjoyed teaching and shooting some hoops with her grandkids in the backyard. Their one son was just the beginning in her long life in helping raise children. Outz had 7 grandchildren, who supplied her with new babies (her great grands) that kept her doing what she loved best, being with her family. She had a long working career at Gluck Mill and Clark Schwebel in the Cloth Room and retired after many years of service. She was also a member of Wellington Pentecostal Holiness Church."
The FamilySearch GenealogyBank obituaries index record is in the name "Ruby Anderson Crymes Burden Outz".
