Alma's obituary (extract) reads: "Alma Crymes Snoddy, 82, of Rogersville died Tuesday, June 21, 2011, at her residence. Visitation will be Thursday, June 23, 2011, from 12-2PM at Rogersville Church of Christ. Funeral services will follow at 2PM, with Bro. Alex Bayes and Dr. Wendall Gandell officiating. Burial will be at Civitan Cemetery. Mrs. Snoddy was preceded in death by her son, James A. Snoddy, Jr.; parents, William Thomas and Mary Sue Minor Crymes; sisters, Ann Crymes, Mittie Mae Gresham, Gladys Williams, and Ellen Whitehead; brothers, Sam Crymes and Harve Crymes. She is survived by her husband James Aralee Snoddy;....Mrs. Snoddy was a graduate of LCHS and Drake Institute for nursing. She was a long term member of ARC of Huntsville Chapter where she served as the Board President. She was an active member of Jordan Park Church of Christ in Huntsville for 30 years as a Sunday school teacher and an active member of West Rogersville Church of Christ for 30 years as a Sunday school teacher. Her hobbies included cooking, visiting the homebound, and bowling....." |
