From The Hattiesburg American of 8 July 1930: "George Crymes was awarded a verdict of 2,000 dollars by a jury in his suit for 25,000 dollars, against his father T P Crymes for a broken cheek bone he received when kicked by one of his father's mules while he was in the employ of his father on a job in Hattiesburg. The case was said ... not to be one of son against father but against the insurance company which insured Mr. Crymes and refused to pay." |
