The 1893 marriage record is for F P Crymes, but this is thought to be a clerical error.
The 1900 US Federal Census includes Thomas Pendleton, widower, with his three children, prior to his second marriage to Frances Minor in 1901.
Thomas Pendleton outlived his wife Frances.
From the newspaper notice of the 1965 engagement of his granddaughter Frances Minor: "The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Pendleton Crymes, pioneer residents of Hattiesburg. Mr. Crymes was in the construction business here for many years and the Crymes family worshiped at Main Street Methodist Church."
