Frida's place of birth has been contributed by P R CHRIMES. Frida was considerably younger than Douglas CHRIMES. The 1971 marriage at Eastbourne of Frida Chrimes and Enoch H SPOKES is assigned to this Frida as a second marriage, as she is the only Frida in this research prior to the 1971 marriage, and her first husband Douglas CHRIMES died in 1969 at Eastbourne, making a second marriage in 1971 at Eastbourne credible. The subsequent death record supports the Eastbourne marriage. This has been confirmed by P R CHRIMES. Frida's marriage to Enoch H SPOKES ended in 1976 in which year he re-married in Eastbourne. Frida changed her surname back to Chrimes in January 1977. Frida's Grant of Probate reads: "CHRIMES, Frida of 23 Coppice Clo Lower Willingdon Eastbourne died 9 December 1988 Probate Brighton 24 January [1989] £87166" |
