Born in Alpharetta, Georgia on May 13, 1945, Jimmy was the son of the late Theron and Mary Ruth Crymes. Jimmy was retired from the City of Cartersville as a Fireman. He was a Member and Past Master of Emerson Lodge 738 F & AM. He belonged to Emerson Baptist Church. Jimmy was a go-getter and always a helper to anyone. He loved to talk to everybody. His puppy, Lucy, will miss him sitting in front of the tv or on the front porch with her. Jimmy, a 17-year heart transplant recipient, had a great desire to have his remains donated for research to Emory Hospital Science Center.
