"Vivian Joyce Crymes, age 84, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2019. Mrs. Crymes was born on October 28, 1935 in Cartersville, GA, daughter of the late Oran Andrew Earwood and Annie Bivens Earwood. Mrs. Crymes was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who always had an open door to anyone in need. She was the owner/operator of Mediquick Express for many years. In her spare time she enjoyed sewing and camping. The light of her life was being able to spend quality time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, friends and her fur babies. She is preceded in death by two husbands, Gerald Pearson and James Crymes; daughter, Vivian Abernathy; grandson, Shane Abernathy; sister-in-law, Ann Earwood. She is survived by her children, Ronnie (Darlene) Posey, Vickie (Barry) Abernathy, Deborah (Jim) Moon, Natalie Jill Davis, J▮▮▮▮ (A▮▮▮▮▮) Crymes; grandchildren, Lamar Abernathy, Toby Abernathy, Andy Posey, Brandy Posey Sloan, Ryan Posey, David Sharpe, Rhonda Sharpe, Amanda Mitchell, Bryan Davis, Keith Davis, Heather Faith Davis, T▮▮▮▮▮ Crymes; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; sixteen great-great grandchildren; brothers, Gerald Earwood and Thurmon (Jean) Earwood; several nieces and nephews; her special friends, Pam Macloney and Joy Fouts. A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at eleven o'clock in the morning on Tuesday, the 31st of December, 2019 in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Josh James and Rev. Rob Miller officiating. Interment will follow in Emerson Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are her grandsons, Ryan Posey, Andy Posey, Lamar Abernathy, Toby Abernathy, Bryan Davis and Keith Davis. Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from five o'clock in the evening until eight on Monday, the 30th of December, 2019 at Owen Funeral Home." |
