Rosaline was known as Rose. In 1921 Rosaline was attending school 'Whole Time'. From The Cheshire Observer of 19 December 1931: "NORLEY - WESLEY GUILD - A literary evening was held on Tuesday in the Wesleyan School-room. Mr. Vernon, of Knutsford, gave a lecture on "Romance and humour of the Post Office". Mr. Tomlinson presided. Miss Rosie Chrimes was the soloist." CheshireBMD gives the location of the 1935 marriage as "Runcorn, Civil Marriage or Registrar Attended" but this should be treated with caution as the ceremony may have been Methodist. The death record is for Rosalyn Parker, but is nevertheless credible. Rosaline's Grant of Probate reads: "PARKER, Rosaline of 19 Green Dv Timperley Cheshire died 7 April 1986 Probate Manchester 1 July £56406." Alternative date of death (www.deceasedonline.com): 17 April 1986. |
