I cannot find a record of Eva's birth. Alternative place of birth (1921 England Census): Norley. In the 1881 census, Eva was living with her grandfather, so this does not help identify her parents. I cannot find Eva on the 1891 census. From The Cheshire Observer of 15 May 1937: "DEATH OF MRS. V. CHRIMES - The death of Mrs. Eva Alice Chrimes, age 61, took place last week, at West View-road. Mrs. Chrimes, who was the wife of Mr. V. Chrimes, took a keen interest in the Bethel Methodist Church and the social life of the parish. Sympathy is extended to the widower, one son and five daughters. The interment took place on Monday at the Parish Church, the Vicar officiating. Mrs. Williams presided at the organ. The mourners included: Mr. V. Chrimes (widower), Mrs. J. Chrimes, Mrs. Spann, Miss L. Chrimes, Mrs. C. Parker, Miss Hilda Chrimes (son and daughters), Mr. P. Spann (son-in-law), Mrs. J. Chrimes (daughter-in-law), Master K. Chrimes (grandson), ...Mr. and Mrs. A. Chrimes, Mr. and Mrs. H. Chrimes, Mr. W. Chrimes, Mr. E. Chrimes, ... Mr. C. Chrimes... The bearers were: Messrs. J. Barker, H. Barker, N. Chrimes, M. Chrimes and P. Whitehead. Floral tributes included wreaths from the Bethel Methodist Church and Sisterhood."
