From The Argus Melbourne of 13 November 1928: "LICENSING PROSECUTIONS - POLICE VISIT CARRUM HOTEL - Seven Persons Fined. Before Mr. T. D. O'Callaghan, P.M., at the Chelsea Court on Monday, ... and Charles Chrimes, of Mascot avenue, Carrum, were each charged with having, on September 30, been on the licensed premises of the Reviera Hotel, Point Nepean road, Carrum, in prohibited hours; with having fraudulently represented themselves as bona-fide travellers; and with having given wrong names and addresses to the police. ... Chrimes, who was the only one to appear, pleaded guilty to all three charges. [Fined £5]"
The gravestone (see www.billiongraves.com) describes Charles Henry as "Loved father of B▮▮▮▮, Roy, Frank, M▮▮▮ and B▮▮".
