Sarah's surname at her marriage to John CHRIMES was Lalley. A CuriousFox entry has "...O'Brien family who lived at Leabrook Wednesbury in the 1871 census, family members include John, Peter, Sarah. Sarah married Patrick, had 2 children Mary and Paddy, widowed by 1901, Sarah then married John Chrimes in 1907", so Sarah is given the birth surname O'Brien here. Another researcher (GenesReunited message board) has found that Sarah had another child Kate whose name was changed to CHRIMES after Sarah married John CHRIMES. Kate was still called "Lally" at the time of the 1911 England Census, so her name must have been changed after that date. |
