| From The Dudley Chronicle of 27 January 1917: "HARTS HILL Funeral - Amidst many manifestations of respect the remains of the late Mrs. Chrimes, wife of Mr. Walter Chrimes, of Hart's Hill, were laid to rest in the New Cemetery, Dudley, on January 13th. Previous to the interment a service was held in Bethel Church, Hart's Hill, conducted by the Rev. Kaye Garthwaite, of Pensnett.... The mourners were Mr. W.
