Samuel's birth was registered in the name CRIMES.
I cannot find Samuel on the 1881 UK Census.
Samuel's birth date is given on his US Naturalisation Record.
Samuel emigrated to USA in July 1905. His wife and six surviving children followed in September 1905.
The 1939 Register (UK) clearly shows that Samuel and "Jane" were resident at Dudley, UK in 1939 which is unexpected.
Samuel's obituary reads: "CHRIMES - On Saturday Feb. 13, Samuel of 134 Brierwood Dr, Churchill Valley beloved husband of the late Jane Hunt, father of Mrs. Esther Cupples of Pgh; Mrs. Sarah Johnson of Pgh; Mrs. Florence Wagner, Samuel Jr of Lincoln Park, Mich. Rev. Charles J. of Chicago Ill. and Harold Chrimes of Churchill Valley, brother of Mrs. Mary Jacques and David Chrimes of England, also 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren... Services on Wednesday at 2 p.m."
