In 1921 George William Rowlinson was attending school 'Whole Time'. From The Birmingham Daily Gazette of 29 November 1933: "NO LICENCE - Alleged Deliberate Attempt to Defraud the Revenue. 'This is, I suggest, a deliberate attempt to defraud the revenue' said Mr. F.J. Astell, prosecuting, at Sutton Coldfield yesterday, two Birmingham men who were fined in respect of motor-cycle licensing offences. George William Chrimes, 16, Newton-road, Sparkhill, was fined 5s. for driving a motor-cycle without a licence, 10s. for not having a road fund licence, and £5 for fraudulently using an expired road fund licence. Summoned for aiding and abetting Chrimes in the second offence, Norman William Taplin, 1/37, Clevedon-road, Balsall Heath, was fined 20s. Mr. Astell said the two men were members of a dance band playing at in inn, near Fazeley, and in the early hours of 4 November were stopped at Sutton. Both were riding motor-cycles, Chrimes being three or four yards behind Taplin, who, he added, was the owner of the machine ridden by Chrimes...." George William Rowlinson had his illegitimate son G▮▮▮▮▮▮▮ G▮▮▮▮▮ with Eleanor Rose McGUFF nee LOCKREN in 1947. George William Rowlinson married Eleanor Rose in 1972 allowing the re-registration of the birth of G▮▮▮▮▮▮▮ G▮▮▮▮▮ in 1973 under Section 14. George William Rowlinson's second marriage was at the unlikely age of 62, but is made credible by the birth certificate of his son G G. George William Rowlinson's middle name Rowlinson comes from the birth certificate of his son G G CHRIMES. From The Torbay Express and South Devon Echo of 24 July 1987: "DEATHS - CHRIMES - George William passed suddenly away at his home on July 22nd. Dearly loved husband of Eleanor and loving father, grandfather and great grandfather to all his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral service at Torquay Crematorium on Wednesday, July 29th at 2.30pm, followed by cremation..." From The Sandwell Evening Mail of 22 July 1989: "In Loving Memory - CHRIMES - George William. July 24, 1987. Two years now since you passed away. My heart still aches with sadness and silent tears still flow, what it meant to lose you, no one will ever know. Love you always.
