CheshireBMD gives the location of the 1901 marriage as "Macclesfield, Civil Marriage or Registrar Attended" but it was probably a Methodist ceremony.
From The Manchester Evening News of 17 April 1942: "Bucklow Council - Bucklow Rural District Council has elected Mr. Joseph Crimes, of Ollerton, as chairman..."
Joseph's Grant of Probate reads: "CRIMES Joseph of Sycamore Farm Ollerton near Knutsford Cheshire died 17 February 1956. Probate London 25 April to Robert Basford Kennerley farmer and George Fenton Dale tractor salesman. Effect: £5303 16s."
