| From Nannie Elizabeth's Find-a-Grave record: "Elizabeth Crymes was the first daughter and fifth child of Oscar Dudley and Mattie Fern Clemmons Crymes. Although Elizabeth's first name was Nannie, she always preferred to be called Elizabeth. As the oldest daughter of ten children, Elizabeth soon earned the nickname "Sis". Elizabeth had four older brothers, Johnnie Pinkney, Theodore, Tommie Lee and Albert Dudley. Tommie died as the result of a fever and a fall earlier in the same year that Elizabeth was born. The second daughter, Lillian Olivia, died in 1959. There are four remaining siblings, one sister and three brothers. Elizabeth worked for many years for the State of Tennessee and assisted her retired parents. Elizabeth even helped in the care of her two nieces. In 1966, Elizabeth married William (Bill) Henry Finch. When Elizabeth and Bill retired they were finally able to travel, enjoy their families and attend the Church of Christ. Following Bill's death in 1978, Elizabeth married Lloyd Tidwell. Elizabeth Crymes Finch Tidwell was buried beside her parents, Oscar Dudley and Mattie Fern Clemmons Crymes.
