From The Greenville Mountaineer: "Died in Anderson District on the 19th inst., Mrs. Nancy Crymes, wife of Mr. George Crymes, aged 75 years. The deceased had been an orderly member of the Methodist Church for many years. She has left a disconsolate husband to whom she has been married near sixty years-six children, a large number of grand and great grandchildren - and an extensive circle of friends and acquaintances to lament the departure of an affectionate wife and parent, a kind neighbor and sincere friend."
