Information from Hazel CHRIMES shows that Robert Arthur and Mary Ann moved to South Wales, which is where Mary Ann died. This is consistent with the Deaths Index record which shows that Mary Ann's death was registered in Newport, Monmouthshire. Mary Ann was buried at Norley church - Sylvia Whalley has noted a gravestone inscribed: "In Loving Memory of Mary Ann, beloved wife of R.A. Chrimes who died September 6th 1916 aged 54 years" |
