Information regarding George's second marriage kindly provided by Philip CRIMES. CheshireBMD gives the location of the 1902 marriage as "Nantwich, Civil Marriage or Registrar Attended". The 1903 death and burial records name this person George Henry. There must be some doubt about the assignment of the 1903 death and burial records to this George, because his daughter Ivy Johnson was born in August of 1904, 16 months after his 'death'. To be resolved. George's Grant of Probate reads: "CRIMES George of Frodsham Street Kelsall near Chester labourer died 21 April 1903. Probate Chester 4 June to John CRIMES labourer. Effects £39" George's will can be viewed at Family History Centers. George appears on the Index to Death Duty Registers for 1903. |
